SYNOPSIS
Indie band THE MATCHES were touring 300+ days a year, signed to a major label, and building an ever-growing fanbase. Unfortunately, the brink of stardom seemed their permanent residence, and exhaustion and unsavory industry practices broke up the band before they could make the leap. Now all living distinctly non-rock star lives, an innocent get-together over coffee leads to a spontaneous resurrection of the group. Unaware that the band’s following had only grown during its hiatus, they put their first reunion show on sale, and the rest is history.
