In the middle of the North Sea, the decommissioning of an abandoned oil rig goes horribly awry when an experimental cleaning enzyme spurs the mutation of deadly parasites in the depths of the rig. Stranded amidst an impervious storm, the cleaning crew must fight for their lives as the acid-spitting mutants rapidly grow in size and number. There is just one way to ensure all of the bugs are killed: the rig must be blown up from the inside. But how will the crew escape?
