Cameron longs to be an important filmmaker, but thus far it seems he is more likely to end up in prison than in Hollywood. At a revival movie house, Cameron enlists the reluctant assistance of a retired gaffer named Flash, who is the only surviving crew member from CITIZEN KANE. During the course of filming a doc about the elderly, Cameron’s dream of being “the man in the chair” comes true. His life is transformed through his mentor Flash who, in turn, by rediscovering his dignity and reigniting his creativity, can finally accept his fate with peace and tranquility.
