Albert Ross is the most ambitious little boy in the whole wide world. But after being profoundly embarrassed by his crazy stepmother in front of his “girlfriend,” he grows up abject with humiliation and inherits the saddest profession of all: a dentist. Albert’s life has become a lonely bore as he spends his days getting paid to battle plaque only to return home to his only friend. Then, one night, he has a most unusual accident that will change his life, although not necessarily all for the better: whatever Albert dreams, Albert lives!
