EAVESDROP

Drama. Tragedy. Romance. Comedy. Eavesdrop manages to weave all these genres into one well-told tale. Beginning in an old world Manhattan cafe during a busy brunch shift, the filmmaker shines his light on a variety of characters experiencing the gamut of moods and musings that life has to offer us all.  

From an awkward new romance, to the final goodbye of a beloved life partner, Eavesdrop is a charming film that keeps the audience engaged with its ability to move among the tables and the fables of the cafe as we learn the tale unfolding in each chair. The viewer becomes the ultimate eavesdropper who gets to enjoy the big picture that is being doled out in measured and delicious spoonfuls.  Writer/director Matthew Miele has carefully crafted each of the stories to touch in some way upon one another.
