• ANDREI DIMA
    Chief Information Officer
Andrei is Shoreline's first second-generation employee, succeeding his father as the company's Chief Information Officer. Inspired by a deep-seated passion for technology, he has not been content as a multi-talented Systems Administrator to merely maintain his predecessor's implementations: Andrei vigilantly finetunes and updates Shoreline's network, database, and security infrastructure, with his end goal being to streamline his fellow employee's workflows and simplify services for the end-client.
  • MELODY DJAVADI
    Vice President, Acquisitions
Melody Djavadi is the VP of Acquisitions at Shoreline Entertainment. A graduate from Chapman University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing & Film Studies, she joined Shoreline in 2011 and has since acquired numerous feature films and documentaries, many of which have gone on to win awards at major festivals including Sundance and SXSW. She regularly attends festivals and markets, amongst them Cannes, Mipcom, the American Film Market, Sundance, Berlin, Melbourne, and Toulouse. She is always actively looking for eclectic content that has potential to connect with audiences all over the world.
  • SAM EIGEN
    Executive Vice President
Sam Eigen has more than twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry. In 1994, he founded a company that developed, operated and sold family entertainment attractions. Under his direction, the company procured international licensing arrangements and opened more than 70 family entertainment centers across the United States. After selling his company in early 2000, he developed a consulting practice working with more than 100 clients on all facets of business including planning and controls, sales and marketing, and human resources. In 2003, after spending several months consulting with Shoreline Entertainment, Eigen joined the Shoreline team full-time as Director of Worldwide Distribution, and going on to become the company's Executive Vice President.
  • VANESSA FUSS
    Vice President, Communications
– Vanessa grew up fourth generation in the film industry. She received a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University, and thereafter ran operations at a live production company, supervised stages, and consulted for newly-formed production companies. Vanessa's experience in administration prepared her for her current position at Shoreline Entertainment, where she works beside its Executive Vice President, Sam Eigen. Vanessa ensures that all facets of Shoreline's communication and marketing run efficiently, by coordinating every market and festival the company attends as well as managing the essential marketing materials for every film in the company catalogue. Most importantly, she specializes in the continuation of Shoreline's relationship with filmmakers by meeting their questions and concerns with solid answers.
  • CHARLES HOPKINS
    Manager, Production and Development
Charles recently moved out to Los Angeles after completing law school at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He studied film and media under his undergraduate degree and has gained experience at a variety of media companies and film law practices. At Shoreline, Charles works alongside CEO Morris Ruskin, managing Shoreline’s pre-production titles both in a creative and logistical sense. Having studied and worked with screenwriters and producers, Charles seeks to enhance Shoreline’s pre-production titles artistically and commercially.
  • JENNIFER ISHIKATA
    Content Manager
Growing up in Southern California, Jennifer Ishikata developed an early fascination with the entertainment industry. She would frequently spend time with her family at moviehouses, where a love for storytelling and cinema blossomed. An alumna of UCLA, she learned from some of the greatest minds in the field and soon thereafter joined Shoreline Entertainment to bolster their acquisitions efforts. Jennifer has since been positioned as the company's Content Manager, as which she is implementing new, specialized organizational systems with an emphasis on streamlining the flow of communication and delivery to filmmaker and distributor.
  • STEVE MACY
    Vice President, Operations
Steve Macy attended the University of Central Florida, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Film Production. He relocated to Los Angeles upon graduating in 2003 and soon thereafter was hired by Shoreline. Now a veteran of the company for well over a decade, he applies his wealth of experience with and knowledge of Shoreline's various activities to his management of the entity's multifaceted operations.
  • JULIA MATSON
    Festival Coordinator
Originally from Michigan, Julia was living in Paris, France, for a year, where during a sojourn to the south her and Shoreline's paths first crossed at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. After interning for Shoreline in Cannes and getting to know the team, she was abducted by Shoreline and forced to work for the company. Fortunately Julia has always had a weakness for theater arts and film, particularly anything with a big dance number and she is thrilled to be following a career path that combines her love of art, worldliness, and organization. With her strong background in graphic design and administration, Shoreline is equally thrilled to have Julia on board to handle festival outreach and coordination
  • MICHELLE WELCH
    Director of Sales
Michelle joined Shoreline following a long tenure at Amazon as a customer relations and fulfillment supervisor, where she and her staff provided the great customer service for which Amazon is known. Although kickstarting a career in the entertainment industry was not something she expected, Michelle has proven a great fit at Shoreline overseeing sales. The sum of her bright outlook, fresh ideas, eclectic aptitude, and experience with tending to customers' needs has become a cherished asset of Shoreline.
